A statement from the owner of Voidprints on privacy

Voidprints.com was made by a single individual who takes privacy extremely seriously. As a small business, maintaining and securing personal data should be, is, and will always remain top priority. Running a business is one thing, running a business that is safe, secure, and still provides top-level products and service is hard. If you’re reading this, I want you to know that I will always strive to only collect what is required to provide you the best service possible. While I can’t control what payment gateways do with their security, I can limit how many third-parties have access to your data by managing as much of it as I can on my own. This comes at an extremely high cost as a business, but if that’s what it takes to protect you and your data, then that is what must be done. Your privacy matters to me. No compromises, no shortcuts, no spam – just a real business providing you the ability to capture the universe.

Cookies

We use only the necessary cookies to provide you access to your account, your orders, returns, and account-related functions. We do not provide advertising cookies, nor do we sell your personal data with any third-party company.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Data we collect and store

We collect and store the following information:

email address, first name, last name, zip code, address, user account name and credentials, items you’ve purchased or returned/exchanged.

Who we share your data with

We do occasionally need to share data about your purchase with third-parties. This data is limited only to companies that provide the service to us or on our behalf to serve you. This would include payment gateways, mailing lists owned and operated by voidprints.com, and the services for providing the infrastructure, servicing, sale, and/or marketing of our products. As an example, we may need to provide your first and last name, along with your address to our distributor for shipping a product to you. We may also need to share data with our payment gateway to confirm or refund a purchase you’ve made. We may use a third-party marketing service to provide marketing emails.

How long we retain your data

If you have purchased a product, we retain the sale data indefinitely to provide you with the ability to make a return. We also retain sale data, your account credentials, and all information used to purchase a product. Payment details are not stored on our servers and are handled entirely by our payment gateway (see above: Who we share your data with).

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you may request full deletion of your customer data. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. We will do our best to scrub any personally identifiable information (PII) from your account. Please note that doing this will permanently disable your account, and will remove record of all purchases you’ve made for the lifetime of your account. Permanently deleting your account will disable your email address from being used on voidprints.com in the future. Please be extremely positive that you wish to request deletion of your account.
